FC Twente leads the way after a big victory over Willem II

FC Twente has given the excellent start to the season a good follow-up against Willem II. In Tilburg it became 3-0 for the Tukkers.

Thanks to the victory, FC Twente is the leader of the premier league until Sunday afternoon.

After just two minutes, the visitors were ahead in Tilburg. Danilo scored on a pass from Václav Cerný, who was able to intercept the ball on an error by Görkem Saglam.

It remained with that quick goal in the first half, but just after the kick-off for the second half, it was again hit for Twente. Jayden Oosterwolde scored after a fine attack.

Bosch is not, Danilo is

Jesse Bosch had a huge chance for the 3-0, but shot from close by goalkeeper Robbin Ruiter.

A handball Twente noticed by the VAR resulted in a penalty kick. Danilo’s bet was stopped by Ruiter, but in the rebound it was still hit for the Brazilian.

Willem II kept looking for the attack, but the best chances were for Twente. Cerný hit the crossbar and Danilo hit the post in the rebound.
