The final version of the Android Auto integration has been implemented in Flitsmeister, so users do not need to download a separate app. The makers of the app have reported this to Androidworld. If you have a car that is compatible with Android Auto, you can show Flitsmeister on the dashboard by connecting the Android phone with the app via USB or Bluetooth.
With the Android Auto version of Flitsmeister, users can navigate and just like the regular app, warnings are displayed for speed cameras, speed cameras and route controls. The app also gives warnings if, for example, a car has broken down on the road or an emergency service is approaching at a certain location. Earlier this month, Flitsmeister added a sound pack with instructions and warnings voiced by Formula 1 commentator Olav Mol.
