For the first time since October 26, 2014, the hockey women from Den Bosch managed to win in and against Amsterdam. Noor Omrani claimed the leading role in the top match in the league by taking the only goal: 0-1. Den Bosch is now the new leader.
The people from Brabant almost immediately took the initiative in the Wagener Stadium on Thursday, which resulted in two penalty corners for the team of Raoul Ehren who left after this season. These remained unused, but the visitors’ intentions were clear.
Amsterdam, which lost for the last time at home in the big league at the end of October 2018, did little in the first quarter. The loss of the injured Eva de Goede (wrist injury) seemed to weigh heavily.
In the second quarter, the deserved goal fell for Den Bosch. Omrani passed goalkeeper Anne Veenendaal with a high flats and thus scored her sixth goal this season. Only Frédérique Matla and Lidewij Welten scored more often for Den Bosch.
