PSV records a narrow victory over brave PEC Zwolle thanks to three late goals

For a long time, PSV seemed to be at a loss at PEC Zwolle on Saturday evening, but thanks to three goals in the final phase, the Eindhoven team barely managed to avoid a loss of points. PEC Zwolle had a 0-1 lead for 84 minutes, but saw a result in Eindhoven go up in smoke within sight of the harbor: 3-1.

Hekkensluiter PEC Zwolle went to Eindhoven with a meager point from the first eight games with little confidence, but Art Langeler’s team nevertheless took the lead after three minutes.

Goalkeeper Kostas Lamprou’s kick was headed through and ended up at Dashawn Redan. The attacker, who was also accurate for the Dutch Juniors this week, then shot the ball cleverly past goalkeeper Joël Drommel.

PSV, where Cody Gakpo and Noni Madueke returned from injury, started a real siege on the Zwolle goal after this downer. But the people of Eindhoven either didn’t have their sights on sharp edge or star Lamprou saved the day or the bar got in the way.
