Jesse Lingard took West Ham by the hand. The Manchester United mercenary has been reborn in the shirt of ‘The Hammers’. The 28-year-old attacker took care of the 1-0 after a nice solo and served teammate Jarrod Bowen at the 3-0. In between, Pablo Fornals had also scored a goal.
Lingard scored for the sixth time in eight games. Characteristic of his revival is that he was nominated for player of the month of the Premier League in the past two months. He also received another call-up for the England national team.
Wolves fight back
Despite the 0-3, ‘The Wolves’ did not give in and fought back to 2-3 via Leander Dendoncker and Fabio Silva. In the final phase, the team pushed further but was unable to find the goal again.
Coming Saturday, West Ham will face Leicester and, with eight rounds to go, will also face Chelsea and Everton. In the other duels, the team plays against the relatively lower part of the rankings. Everton got no further than a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on Monday-evening.
