Vitesse has once again made itself heard on the transfer market. The Arnhem team reached an agreement to rent out 20-year-old French youth international Yann Gboho from Stade Rennes for one season.
The attacking midfielder is already the seventh addition to last season’s number four. Gboho made ten matches in the French Ligue 1 and four in the Champions League last season. “He is a dynamic and creative player, with speed and good individual action,” said Johannes Spors, technical director of Vitesse.
Just like last season, players Jacob Rasmussen and Loïs Openda have also been hired for a season. This means that Vitesse has already established its selection well before the start of the Eredivisie.
Kastaneer back to the Netherlands
Gervane Kastaneer exchanges Coventry City for PEC Zwolle. The attacker is signing a two-year contract. Over the past six months, the 25-year-old international from Curaçao has played on a rental basis for the Scottish Heart of Midlothian. Kastaneer previously played for NAC Breda and ADO Den Haag, among others.
