Volkswagen had wanted to keep the facelifted Polo a secret until tomorrow, but the photos leaked out on the internet today. It gets the headlight technology from the more expensive VW models, including LED matrix headlights. In addition, the IQ.Drive Travel Assist driver assistance now enables partially autonomous driving.
In the interior, the new Digital Cockpit stands out, with which every Polo comes as standard. This means that the infotainment is always online. The central screen is 8.0 to 10.25 inches in size, depending on the version. A new option is the operation of the climate control via small touchscreens at the outflow grilles.
According to VW, the Polo will be more fully equipped. Three fuel-efficient 1.0-liter petrol engines are available for the drive, and a 1.0-liter turbo engine that is content with natural gas is also available. There is no mention of diesel.
